I thought the CBC was pulling my strings with a headline like this one, Bettman? Support CANADIAN hockey markets?

This whole NHL-vs-Bettman-vs-Coyotes-vs-Balsillie soap opera is starting to get out of hand. I don't get people who say Balsillie has to play "by the rules," what kind of moronic initiation process is this, you have to do this and this and this and in that order to get into our gentleman's club? Otherwise we shut you out? Whatever. We all know that any of the failing hockey franchises would do better here, or Quebec or Hamilton than the Southern US.

The whole reason why I'm posting this? Because of this line in the CBC story. Had me LOL-ing. Almost spit my coffee out when I read it.

"A rally to help keep the Coyotes in Phoenix was held by local fans Saturday morning at a sports bar near Glendale called Native New Yorker. It drew about 100 people..."

...*crickets chirping*...

Does somebody need to show Bettman video of Jets rallies? Or maybe he forgot that more than 100 people signed up to buy ficticious season tickets in Hamilton?
